This site was started when Silas was born on 04-10-06. He had complications and was placed on ECMO, a heart/lung bypass machine. He spent his first 7 weeks at Legacy Emanuel NICU in Portland, OR fighting for his life. This is his story of survival and the continuing saga of the Kyne's as told through the eyes of Mom and Grammy. We are having a giant birthday party for any and all who would like to meet for the first time or just say hi to Silas. It will be April 28th at 2:00 pm. The location is still being worked out, but I wanted to give a heads up to everyone. I can't believe it has been a whole year.
