This site was started when Silas was born on 04-10-06. He had complications and was placed on ECMO, a heart/lung bypass machine. He spent his first 7 weeks at Legacy Emanuel NICU in Portland, OR fighting for his life. This is his story of survival and the continuing saga of the Kyne's as told through the eyes of Mom and Grammy. Josie is here! Rachel delivered Josie at 37 weeks 1 day gestation and (other than some fluid in her lungs a brief visit to the dreaded NICU) she is absolutely fine. Matt and Rachel are delighted as am I. Congratulations guys!
